Job Title: Non-Emergency Transportation Driver

Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible Schedules Available)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Non-Emergency Transportation Drivers to join our team. As a Non-Emergency Transportation Driver, you will play a vital role in safely transporting individuals to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other non-emergency destinations. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need and ensure their timely arrival to essential appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other non-emergency destinations
• Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients at all times
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and cleanliness
• Adhere to all traffic and transportation regulations to ensure the safety of clients and other road users
• Record mileage and maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and other required documentation
• Communicate with dispatchers or scheduling coordinators to receive trip assignments and report any changes or issues
• Provide exceptional customer service and attend to any special needs or requests of clients

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience in transportation or customer service is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Compassionate and patient approach towards clients, especially those with physical or cognitive limitations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
• Ability to follow directions, read maps, and navigate efficiently
• Knowledge of local streets and routes, as well as traffic patterns
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and evenings
